Privacy Policy

Sunny Harvest (com.fatalbug.idlefarmtycoon) · Android · Developer: FatalBug
Effective: October 5, 2026 (previous version: August 29, 2026)

In plain terms

1. Who we are

Sunny Harvest is developed by FatalBug ("we", "us"), an independent game developer. This policy explains what information the app collects when you install and play it, and how that information is used by us and by the third-party services the app relies on. It applies only to Sunny Harvest.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Collected automatically by third-party services

The services listed in Section 4 may collect, depending on your region and consent choices:

2.2 Game progress

Your save (resources, upgrades, prestige progress, achievements, purchases' in-game effects and settings) is stored in the app's private storage on your device. If you are signed in to Google Play Games Services, the same save is also stored in your Google account's Play Games saved games, which only this app and you can access. Google may show your Play Games profile name and avatar to the game when you sign in; we do not store them anywhere else.

2.3 Support ID

Settings shows a "Player ID": a random code created on first launch and stored only on your device. It is not derived from your device or your Google account, and the game does not send it anywhere by itself. It is included only if you choose to contact support, so we can find your report.

2.4 Information you send us

If you email us, we receive what you choose to include (usually your email address and your Player ID). We use it only to answer you.

3. How we use information

We do not sell your information for money and do not build a profile of you outside the game. However, when you watch an ad, Google AdMob may use your advertising ID and related data to show personalised ads. Some US state laws, such as the CCPA, treat this as "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information. You can opt out at any time in Settings → Privacy Options (see sections 5 and 10).

4. Third-party services

Google's privacy policy covers all of the above: policies.google.com/privacy. For Firebase, see firebase.google.com/support/privacy; for ads, policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Time check. When the game starts it makes a plain HTTPS request to a public time endpoint (operated by Google or Cloudflare) to read the current date, so time-based rewards can't be unlocked by changing the device clock. No game or personal data is sent; as with any web request, the endpoint sees your IP address.

5. Advertising and consent

The game does not show forced or interstitial ads. An ad plays only when you tap an offer to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows a consent form on first launch using Google's User Messaging Platform, a certified consent management platform. You can review or change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy Options. If you are in a US state with a consumer privacy law (such as California), no form is shown on launch, but Settings → Privacy Options lets you choose "Don't sell or share my data", which turns off personalised ads. If that option is not shown, it does not apply to your region. Elsewhere, ad personalisation follows your device settings (for example "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in Android settings).

6. Notifications

With your permission, the game schedules reminders on your device (for example when your crops are ready or a daily reward is available). They are created locally on the device; no push server is involved. You can turn them off in the game's Settings or in Android's notification settings.

7. In-app purchases

The game offers optional purchases, such as Golden Seeds (an in-game currency) and permanent upgrades, processed by Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation that a purchase succeeded and which item was bought, but never your card number, billing address or other payment details.

8. Data retention and deletion

Because analytics data is not linked to your Player ID, your name or your email, we usually cannot single out your records in it. You can reset your advertising ID in Android settings, and you can contact us for anything else.

9. Children

The game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of information about you, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" as defined by laws such as the CCPA. Most of the information above is held by Google, so the most direct tools are:

For anything else, email us and we will help as far as we can.

11. Security

Your save is kept in the app's private storage, protected by Android, and in Google's Play Games storage. Data sent to the services above travels over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but the game sends data only to the services named in this policy.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the game changes, for example if we add a new service. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will also be announced in the game.
